Ginger Rogers & Frederick Jr. are strongly bonded, so we want to adopt them out together. Here’s the thing. Frederick Jr. and Ginger Rogers, a pair of legendary ballroom dancers on the canine circuit, are available for adoption, but we’re going to need a note from your doctor. Their cuteness as individuals is breathtaking. Taken together, this bonded duo can be adorable to the point of temporary paralysis and shortness of breath. It isn’t just the matched short-legged fingerling physiques and sublime ears. Despite their retirement, they continue to stay in graceful step, bewitching dogs and humans alike with lap mambos, synchronized napping and spontaneous tap routines. In other words, their enchantment knows no bounds. But we say, go ahead! Check your heart rate, gather your strength and visit. It’s worth a quick case of the vapors. Here’s some notes from their foster:Ginger Rogers and Frederick jr. are the most bonded, bonded pair I’ve fostered! They both love each other fiercely, but have a tendency to be protective of each other around new dogs, people and situations. Once they’re comfortable they let their guards down for the most part.G + F are a super fun little duo who love life! These two love being the center of attention where ever they go. This pair requires A LOT of physically and mental stimulation- e.g. meals served in puzzles, at least 45 min walk after breakfast, lick mats or snuffle mats used throughout the day, a long walk mile in the afternoon, and an adventure to the park after dinner playing fetch to get that last bit of energy out. They’re very playful, chase squeaky toys, eat well, sleep through the night, house trained and have super fun personalities to be around. I think they’d do well living in a home with or without other dogs- Fred is the needier of the two and will work harder for your attention if he feels he’s not getting enough. They have lots of love to give and are ready to experience new adventures at their forever home.
