Meet Chilli, a six-month-old adorable pug mix who will be about 25 pounds at adulthood. This pup is smart and has done well with both older kids and a mature dog sister in her foster home. A bit slow to warm, Chilli can be standoffish at first, wanting to gain your trust from afar, but once you’re part of her pack, you’re in! Chilli is doing wonderfully on potty training and is a quick study in general, especially when treats are involved. While Chilli’s leash skills are also quite good, she could benefit from a basic obedience class to keep working on all the positive things she has been learning in her foster home. Chilli’s new family should be active as she likes to be out on walks, playing with toys in the backyard (balls, squeakers, etc.) and she has even enjoyed some easy runs. They should also be committed to her continued socialization as her world has been a bit small and she is ready to be exposed to more. If Chilli sounds like a great fit, please be sure to apply today. (KE)
