Hashbrown is an extremely sweet older gentleman who just wants to be near his person. He has been a perfect, calm office companion - often staring intently with puppy-dog eyes at his staff friends and scooching in closer and closer for scritches. Once he's had a few pets, he's content to snuggle down for a long nap. His lack of hearing doesn't hold him back and he's an expert at tracking footsteps and quietly following along. While he's not much of a distance walker, he loves to be outside taking in every smell the great outdoors has to offer. He'll often top off his outings by having a good roll around in the grass.
Update from Hashbrown's recent Foster Field Trip:
"Hashbrown enjoyed a fun sniffari at the Alameda shoreline. We didn't cover a lot of ground, but Hashbrown enjoyed the leisurely pace and chance to sniff everything! He is a calm and affectionate little guy and rode beautifully in the car. His sweet face and "lion cut" elicited smiles from passerby. Hashbrown stayed close by and had no reaction to other dogs. He will make a great addition to a home where he can get plenty of snuggles and attention."
