Gunther is a curious boy who is figuring out his comfort levels, and is still adjusting to being back in our bustling shelter environment after living in a home for almost a year. Gunther’s what you call an “extroverted introvert,” which, same Gunther, same. Rather than a loud party type, he’s more of a “go for a nice walk to get a coffee then be home before dark” type of dog. If you’re okay with that, Gunther’s your man for sure. Our staff reports he loves getting butt scratches and giving kisses, and has been doing great with learning commands. Can you spare some space on the couch for this curious lovebug? Come in to discuss in detail with our adoption counselors and find out.
Foster-to-Adopt!? Think you and Gunther might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Gunther—meaning you’ll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don’t work out, you can always bring them back to us. If you’re interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more.
