Ready for a shaggy dog story? Robbie was returned to the SF SPCA after several years in a home. This sweet snuggler has “only child syndrome”; in other words he wants to be the only dog in the house. He’s looking for a patient adopter who will be able to help him with his nervousness around other dogs or loud noises, and help him live out his senior years in the lap of luxury! Robbie has been in a foster home while back and they report he is an excellent Netflix and chill dog. Housetrained and quiet unless he sees another dog, he doesn’t mind being alone as long as you come back to brighten his day. The right person may live in a quiet neighborhood. A little patch of a back yard is really all he wants or needs. He warms up to people quickly and always charms the pants off any human he sees. Come meet Robbie and fall in love with this shaggy story-book creature.
Foster-to-Adopt!
Think you and Robbie might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Robbie—meaning you’ll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don’t work out, you can always bring them back to us.
If you’re interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more.
