Jake is our resident rock star. At only 11 months old he’s had a couple procedures performed (as you may notice in his pictures—he’s a tripod!) yet he romps around roarin’ to go like he doesn’t even notice he’s meant to have four legs in the first place. This sweet boy has a heart of gold and would love to show it off to potential adopters. Life with this pup would be a breeze; he’s incredibly friendly and eager to learn. While recovering from surgery, he spent some time in a foster home, and his foster parents have nothing but good things to say about him! They shared with us that he is “housetrained, knows basic obedience (and is obedient!), super friendly, and just a very loving dog. He would be great for first time dog owners.” Jake is a young dog with energy that will need to be stimulated in ways other than physical at this time. Food puzzles and training will be beneficial and just as exhausting as physical exercise while he goes through his physical therapy period.
