Cielo (whose name means “sky”) is a sweet and very lovable fellow. He sort of looks like a Dachshund mixed with a Beagle with some other breeds sprinkled in there. We call his breed 100% Cuteness! Cielo came to us from the Central Valley and is a timid sort when he’s first getting used to new people and new situations, but he loves affection and will slowly but surely crawl right into your lap and not want to leave. He’ll request some gentle pets and then reward you with tiny kisses! Our volunteers are working with Cielo to introduce him to the noisy world and he’s learning to walk politely on leash. He is making great progress every day! Cielo would love to find a quiet home where he can soak up all the cuddles and snuggles. If you’re looking for a loving lapdog, he’s your guy!
