Why did the football team go to the eye doctor? Because they needed better field vision! Warner with his piercing ice-like gaze can spot a clean play from a mile away. He wants that one-way-ticket to the end zone: your home! Warner came to our shelter weak from a bacterial infection called Leptospirosis. This bacteria can most affect the liver and kidney organs. At it’s peak, Warner’s liver and kidney organs were indeed affected. An extended treatment of antibiotics, supplements, plus TLC sent Warner on an upward trend. Today, he is feeling better than ever! Warner may need ongoing medical management throughout his life due to the impact the infection had on his body. But, it’s more than safe to say his motivation and will power will remain resilient, as he’s shown us already just how far perseverance can take you. Warner is an all-around awesome athlete, just like his namesake Fred Warner. His personality and disposition has landed a huge hit with the staff and volunteers that have gotten to know him. He is such an easy guy to take out on a walk, is curious, affectionate, and friendly. Warner’s the full package. Sign him ASAP! Foster-to-Adopt! Think you and Warner might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Warner—meaning you’ll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don’t work out, you can always bring them back to us.
