Hiya friends, I'm Laverne! I'm a 5 year old, 12 lbs., spayed female Terrier mix. I'm a curious and gentle lady that can be a bit shy at first but warms up with time and patience, especially for treats (I happen to love cheese). Once I'm comfortable, I'm very affectionate and love pets; I'll snuggle up right on your lap but watch out! Just when you don't expect it, I'll gain my confidence and hop right from your lap to the desk to explore. I don't mind the company of other dogs as long as they have good manners and give me space. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
