Hello! My name is Junie and I'm a 3 year old, spayed German Shepherd that currently weighs about 53lbs. I'm an affectionate young lady that prefers to be the only dog in the household. I'm a quick learner and I'm food motivated so training is a breeze! I sometimes start off on the timid side but if you give me love, patience, and treats, I warm up quickly. So far I've mastered "sit" and "watch me", and now I'm learning "lay down". I can't wait to learn more! I'm hoping for a patient and loving family that has experience with large working breeds like me. I'd love to go for hikes and adventures, but I'm also happy to cuddle on the couch watching movies! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
