Checkers is a 2 year old, 15 lb spaniel mix. Checkers is shy with new people, but  warm and loving with his people. He is an adorable and anxious guy who has had a rough start, but once he warms up and trusts, he is happy, playful, and snuggly. Checkers loves other dogs, and would be best with adults. He is house and leash-trained. His favorite thing to do? Play fetch and he’s quite good at it. He also loves going on walks-the more the better. He will thrive in a quiet home environment, and with time and patience, will blossom into a playful, loving ham!
