Acorn, an 8-month-old loving, playful pup who will brighten up your household Acorn is a playful but very chill girl with lots of love to give.  This cuddle bug loves to be on the bed and the couch, burying her face next to you and taking a nap.  But if you tell her to “go lay down” she will happily go lay down over in her bed as well.  She shows a lot of affection and loves being petted but is just as happy laying down by herself with a bone to chew on.  She loves to run around and play with her human and dog friends too.  She loves walks, rides in the car, and long naps.  She walks well and prefers to lay down in the car after a few minutes with her head out the window. Her favorite toys are bones, balls, and anything she can chew.  Acorn loves, loves, loves to eat, and she is extremely food motivated.  She can be trained with just kibble.  Her favorite treat of all is ice cubes! Acorn is almost an expert with the commands Sit, Lay down, and Shake.  (She’s even picking up on “Go in the kitchen” and “Go upstairs/downstairs” on her own!)  She is well on her way to being house-trained, sometimes ringing the bell to let you know she wants to go outside and almost always holding it through the night until you let her out first thing in morning. With patience and consistent routine… she will soon be 100% successful. Overall Acorn is a very loving and loyal puppy that will be a great dog for a family or older couple that has some experience with dog ownership and who can provide consistency and continue to offer socialization opportunities.  She will return your love twofold!
