Meet 3.5-year-old Siham, one of the dogs rescued from the Daily Hugz shelter in the West Bank!  Siham has been with an amazing foster family for several months that has helped her to decompress and adjust!  Siham, weighing approx. 45 lbs., is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a loving and patient home. She needs a calm and supportive family as she continues to gain confidence.  She is a bit cautious and shy around new people and new experiences but is sweet and loving with slow introductions. Siham picks up new behaviors quickly, is house-trained, has a medium amount of energy, loves to be outdoors in the sun, and walks well on leash!  She is a sensitive pup and loves to cuddle with her trusted people.  She reserves her affection for family members and is most comfortable in familiar spaces with familiar people. Siham has made leaps and bounds in her foster home since she arrived.  She plays well with the other dog in her foster home, they’ve become good friends, and she even does well with the chickens in their backyard!  She recently went on a camping trip with her foster family and did well with everyone there — both humans and canines! Siham will thrive in a home that offers structure and consistency and would be best suited for a family that understands her needs and is willing to continue to give her the time to build trust and confidence!  She would do well with calm, dog savvy kids, 10 years and up, as she prefers a calm environment.  And, Siham would love to have a mellow doggie companion in the home!  If you’re ready to offer Siham the love and patience she needs to continue to blossom, come and meet this sweet and sensitive girl.
