Meet Ava, the sweet and mellow gal who loves a good snuggle! When she’s at home, she’s happiest curled up on the couch, making every cuddle feel just right. But don’t let her cozy side fool you – Ava was all smiles and wags on her walk today, ready for some fun in the sun! She’s a friend to all, both dogs and people alike. With her gentle heart and happy tail, Ava’s the perfect mix of calm and playful. Whether it’s chilling at home or strolling in the park, she’s always ready to make your day bright.Adopt Ava, and let this cuddle bug bring warmth and joy to your life – because every day is better with a friend like her by your side! Here’s some notes from her foster:Ava is potty trained! She also knows how to use a potty pad when necessary. We’ve found that she knows how to sit and sort of knows how to stay/wait. Ava is perfectly content taking naps and cuddling to pass the day but will occasionally love a good game of fetch with a fuzzy squeak toy. She has been obsessed with a jack-o-lantern toy, just in time for Halloween. If Ava could have it her way, she would sit in someone’s lap all day. We have her sleep in a separate room to give our cats space at night. The first few nights, she quietly whined when she was left alone and stopped soon after to either sleep in the dog bed or the comfy chair in the room. We’ve started to pair her bedtime ritual with treats in a kong toy, so she seems content until the morning! She also loves to sleep on fuzzy blankets. In general, we noticed that if she is left alone and can’t see humans, she may whine for a few minutes and then settle in somewhere. Ava is great on car rides! She knows to sit when the car is moving and sometimes likes to look out the window. Ava loves a good walk. She’s perfectly content to go around the block but seems to enjoy a slightly longer walk and gets tired if it’s any longer. She will sometimes go on little sprints. She can go up a short flight of stairs! She seems to like interacting with small to medium-sized dogs when she goes on walks and is generally very friendly to all dogs. She seems to be mostly blind to cats. She sees them, sniffs them, and leaves them alone. Every once in a while, something will trigger her to chase after a cat though it’s been inconsistent.Loves cuddles and attention, you could take a zoom meeting with her napping on your lap.
