Peachette is a 61 lb, 2-3-year-old sweetheart of a pittie girl. She’s calm, affectionate, cuddly and serene. Peachette loves hanging out with her foster doggie siblings, and enjoys 2 daily walks or hikes. She is a wonderful office mat and snoozes quietly while the humans are working from home. She is great on a leash and while she’s very interested in meeting every dog she encounters she’s quite polite when she does. No barking or jumping and very patient even with annoying puppies all up in her personal space! She’s dog friendly and would thrive in a home with another dog(s) who is playful but more deferential in personality. She’s house-trained, as well. Peachette is also wonderful with the little ones – from toddlers to older kids. She never jumps and is tolerant of small hands. She is currently being treated with anti-fungals for Valley Fever, which is a non-contagious respiratory illness caused by inhaling spores from soil. It is unclear how long her treatment will last (she goes in quarterly for checkups), but there are no apparent side effects and NO effect on the other humans and animals in the home. She will make a wonderful bestie for someone who will need to be a little patient integrating Peachette into their lives; she has some separation anxiety that her current foster is working on. She bonds hard and fast and is so loving that there will be an adjustment in her move from foster to her forever family – but it will 100% be worth it! She’s impossible not to fall in love with. (LG)
