Meet Buddy!  Buddy landed with us here at Rocket Dog due to the unfortunate passing of his human.  However, at two and a half years old, Buddy is full of life and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a new forever family. Buddy is around 65 pounds and DNA results show he’s German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and Golden Retriever. His foster family describes him as a goofy and sweet boy who absolutely adores his ball. He is potty-trained, walks great on a leash, and is food-motivated.  He loves chasing his ball and he is an excellent “soccer” player. While he loves to play and go on adventures, he is also remarkably calm and self-sufficient when left alone. He is not a chewer or destructive. His foster family allows him to freely roam the house when they are away and there have been zero issues. Buddy gets along famously with other dogs and adults, as well as children who visit.  We don’t know how Buddy would be with cats, but when he was recently in Lake Tahoe, he did not react at all to the many birds and squirrels he encountered while out on walks. Buddy thrives on affection and shows a deep concern for his loved ones.  You can always see his happiness with his big tail wagging. Would you like to be the new center of Buddy’s world?
