Forest, a dinky caramel chi with the aura of a spiritual guru, doesn’t stand out in a crowd. But the minute you meet his big brown eyes, he grabs your heart. He’s a sweet boy with a gentle and loving nature that is rare in this world. Happily, it is also contagious. The potency of his humble kindness around dogs and humans of any age is matched by a fondness for hikes and outings. Belly rubs, for which he will wait patiently, keep him young and will bring you luck. Win-win!Here’s some notes from his foster:Forest is a dashing fellow, boldly sniffing at strangers and other dogs. Stairs aren’t a problem although steep stairs might give him pause. I think he’ll build up confidence and little treats to encourage him don’t seem to hurt. He is polite in asking for lap time and is most happy curled up next to someone, person or dog. He’s curious on walks and likes to sniff his way down the street. He seems well housetrained and is well behaved when left alone for a little bit.He really is a snuggler. He tries to nap with my dog when I’m not around and Shadow will mostly let him. Have not heard Forest bark at all. Forest seems to consider almost anyone a potential friend. He’ll run up to greet strangers feet as we’re walking and happy to accept their attention. He nearly fell asleep within minutes of getting settled in a friend’s lap.
