Pippy is a gorgeous creature who is probably part JRT, part Lab, and part gazelle! She’s an energetic and goofy gal who loves to run and play. Pippy is looking for an active home that is excited about continuing the training and cues she’s been working on at the shelter. Pippy adores humans and wants to greet every single one, which can result in a bit of over-excitement on leash. Treats will be your best friend when walking her, and lucky for you, she loves them! Pippy is just a joy to be around — her energy and positive spirit is infectious. She gives the most excellent kisses and loves to lean in for plenty of pets. Pippy has played with other dogs of a similar size and age at our shelter and loves to run around with a buddy. She is also crate-trained, so containment is a breeze! Foster-to-Adopt!
Think you and Pippy might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first? You can foster Pippy—meaning you’ll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don’t work out, you can always bring them back to us.
