Meet REI, a lowrider with a high energy engine! This handsome fella is basically a canine stretch limo: long, lean, and riding low on his adorable corgi-style legs. Don’t be fooled by his short stature, REI is full of spunk, speed, and sass, and he’s ready to zoom into your life! REI has energy to spare and really thrives with daily exercise to keep his body busy and his brain buzzing. He’s a social butterfly with other dogs, but when it comes to humans, he prefers the slow and steady approach. With some patience (and probably a few treats), he’ll warm up and show off his sweet, goofy side. REI is the total package… quirky, active, and totally lovable. All he needs is a home that can keep up with his little legs, respect his space, and love him for the long-bodied sweetheart he is!Here’s some notes from his foster!Overall, REI is very cuddly and never misses an opportunity for belly rubs or ear scritches! He is curious at heart – enjoying car rides if that means exploring somewhere new! REI also loves long walks and being active (e.g., playing fetch, chew toys). Sometimes his love for walks can get the best of him and he can be a bit reactive.He is a bit hesitant about stairs or unfamiliar doors, so REI would benefit from a home that can offer him lots of love/security and patience learning his unique tendencies.
