Meet Sophie Sparkle - a 5 year old, Bernese Mountain Dog, who weighs 43 pounds (as 5/1/25). This beautiful girl is CKC registered Bernese Mountain Dog. She is definitely on the smaller side given her weight and height (25 inches tall).

UPDATE from her Northern foster: She’s absolutely sweet, and very well behaved. She’s done great on her leash walks, she’s gone to the bathroom outside, and she’s already started to relax in the house - she’s happy to stretch out and nap near either my wife or I, and as soon as we move an inch she springs up to see if we’re going to do something fun. She loves to a bit of physical affection, and she’s insistent but gentle. Sophie is a quiet dog who doesn’t bark, and the only real noises she makes are ones of gentle contentment when receiving rubs.

She will make an absolutely wonderful companion for someone when we can find her forever home.

When she meets strangers, she instantly falls in love with everyone. She’s been great with the few kids she’s met, calmly letting them pet her. She’s slightly more cautious about dogs, but is non-reactive to dogs that bark at her, and quickly warms up to dogs that are friendly.

Her foster shares: "Sophie Sparkle is a super sweet girl that loves people. She gets pretty excited around people - especially when she's meeting new friends. We know she will absolutely will blossom with any human who spends time with her and gives her lots of love and attention. She has spent most of her life living outdoors, and will need to be house trained. She's currently living with other pups that are similar size and she's doing great with all of them. We know this girl will be an amazing adventure buddy!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
