This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Tollie Momma -a 2 year old, 51 pound, Shepherd mix gal. Tollie was found as a stray in Mississippi in her four precious puppies. Tollie and her puppies have been on our website for FIVE MONTHS now and we are shocked! Just watch the video and how much this girl LOVES TO LOVE! She is a true gem! And with such stunning eyes and a gorgeous coat too.

Her foster mom shares "Happy Go Lucky Tollie! This gal loves life and everything in it! She loves tennis balls and nylabones! When she gets the zoomies she does full circles and jumps, it's a sight for sure! Tollie has the energy to keep kids occupied but will be ready for bed at the end of the day! She would also be a workout partner. Tollie loves all dogs and does well with cats. She meets everyone in a friendly manner including kids. She is doing well on all her leash and crate skills, and is fully housebroken."

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
