This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Beau Angel - an 8 month old Lab/Poodle mix guy who was found as a stray in Tennessee with his sister Coco Angel. At the time of posting on 2/8/25 he weighs 50 pounds.

His foster shares "Beau Angel is a wonderful companion! He is very very likable and sweet. I would call him loving, gentle, and well mannered just like his sister!! He is great with other dogs and we think he would be great with kids too. He is just an angel like his name says! Hhe is doing well in his crate and learning his leash manners too. He loves meeting new people and does so very nicely. He should blend really well into a new family without a lot of worry. He gets along with anyone. We haven’t heard him bark yet. He just seems so content and happy to be loved. This well behaved sweetie deserves the best home ever!"

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
