Meet Peepers Peebles - an adorable, 6 week old, Yorkie / Shih Tzu mix, who weighs 3 pounds (as of 4/25/25). Peepers Peebles was born on 3/14/25 while in our care to Momma Peebles (photo of momma attached for reference). Momma weighs 25 pounds, so we can expect her babies to be about the same. Since these pups were born in rescue, they are well socialized and have been receiving unlimited love and kisses since the day they were born. They are happy & healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Peepers Peebles is an adventurous gal who loves to play for a little bit and then quickly curl up for a snuggle and a snooze. She gets her name because she makes the cutest little “peep” noises. Other than her peeps, she has been very quiet. Peepers is still young and will need a family who is dedicated to her training.

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
