Husky alert! Come meet Shadow, a young, active pup whos ready for
adventure!
Shadow will thrive with an adopter who can help him build confidence.
Shadow should have carefully managed introductions to new people, places,
and experiences. Shadow is still mastering potty training, so his adopter
should be ready to use positive reinforcement to set him up for success.
Puppy-proofing and management will be key.
Shadow prefers not to visit dog parks or meet unfamiliar dogs. However, he
could have a well-matched walking companion who is confident and can be a
part of a slow introduction. He could also live with a cat, provided there
is complete separation at the start and the adopter thoughtfully manages
their interactions.
Shadow has a good history of living with kids and would love a home that
can keep up with his energy while helping him learn polite manners. Shadow
could do well with children who can participate in his training and
practice petting consent.
