Hello all, I'm Kuromi! I'm a spayed, 8-month-old, Border Collie mix who currently weighs 32lbs, but I'm still growing and could be 45 to 55 lbs. as an adult. I'm everything you would expect from a young herding dog; energetic, playful, and always ready for adventure! My friends here at PHS say I'm a bit of a firecracker that's ready to go, go, go! I'm hoping for a family that understands my exercise and training needs. My new family should also be prepared to continue working on my socialization since I'm still learning about the world. Please be sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me prior to adoption. I just want an opportunity to say a proper hello before moving in! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
