Hi there! My name is Bisquick and I'm a 1-year-old, spayed husky that currently weighs about 50lbs. I'm a total sweetheart that still has some puppy energy. I can be a little timid at first, but once I'm out and about, I'm very affectionate and enjoy playtime! I've been working on my leash skills and the volunteers have told me I've made great strides. Now that my confidence is growing, more of my silly Husky personality has come out to shine! I'm hoping for a family with kids 10 and older that will continue my training/socialization, give me tons of playtime, and spoil me like the princess I am!

Please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile. When you email your adoption profile, please include a few sentences about why you're interested in adopting me specifically and why you think I'd be a good fit for your family! Please also tell us a little bit about your dog experience, if any. We look forward to hearing from you!

I got to spend the day in a staff members office and this is what they had to say:
Bisquick was so well behaved in the office! We first went to the yard where she had lots of zoomies. She was a bit nervous at first and was panting some but after some sniffing, exploring, and a bully-stick she settled in. She was very patient when I had to gear her for walks and didn't have any accidents inside. Bisquick is truly a sweet and sensitive girl and I would let her visit me again any day!

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
