For someone who loves the highly intelligent nature of German Shepherd mixes, then Barlow just might be the dog for you. Barlow is a young dog who needs an adopter who "gets" what it means to be high drive and needing a job. Put in the work now, and you will end up with an amazing partner. Barlow should NOT be with families with cats, rabbits or other small livestock. It's normal for this breed to predatory and actually dogs are to a certain extent. But with the right kind of management in the home and training (which Barlow LOVES) then he's going to be a winner.
