Harvey is the quintessential little Chihuahua mix guy who is all wiggle and squeak. Despite a journey that has taken him from Lake County to Sonoma Humane, he remains optimistic and upbeat as they come. He's an easy little dog who loves people, once he gets to know them. We think he would do well as a family dog with children, who can understand how to interact with such a small dog. During his stay with us, he's been good with other dogs in play groups---adventurous and fun loving. If he does go home with another dog, then please talk with our adoptions department about introductions.

On a family vacation abroad, I witnessed mass animal suffering that haunted my thoughts: sunken eyes, emaciated frames, meekly wagging tails. After traveling back home to the Bay Area, I realized that hundreds of dogs in my own community needed desperate help to find homes.
