Hiya friends, my name is Maurice! I'm a 2 year old, neutered, Chihuahua mix that currently weighs about 9lbs. I'm an affectionate little dude that's ready to jump into your lap and steal your heart! My friends here at PHS say I'm playful and energetic. I love zooming around the yard, playing with friends, and investigating the world through my sniffer. I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to work on my social skills. I sometimes get so excited that I forget my manners and come off too forward. I don't mean anything by it, I just want to make friends! If you have a resident dog, I'd love to meet him or her before I officially join your family. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
