Are you looking for your very own house elf! Well, look no further! My name is Dobby and I'm an adorable bundle of cuteness and fluff. Well, to be exact, I'm actually a neutered, 1-year-old, terrier mix that weighs about 20lbs. I'm a gentle and sweet boy who is hoping to find the perfect home for me. I'm a special boy with special medical needs. I have the most adorable wibbly wobbly walk that I will have for the rest of my days. Everyone here at the shelter just says it gives me character! Who doesn't love a little skip? My ideal home is one with people that understand how to let me be the young and playful dog that I am, while also not letting me overexert myself. I love to zoom around and play with friends, but I'm not the greatest at knowing my limits. If you have a dog, please make sure we can get acquainted before I officially join the family! As you can see from my beautiful coat, I will need regular brushing to keep me mat free and looking fabulous. In return, you will get a lifetime of kisses and cuddles. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
