I am Alexia, the founder of YourDoggyMatch. You might ask what inspired me to create this website? On a family vacation abroad, I witnessed mass animal suffering that haunted my thoughts: sunken eyes, emaciated frames, meekly wagging tails. After traveling back home to the Bay Area, I realized that hundreds of dogs in my own community needed desperate help to find homes. At the age of twelve, I took matters into my own hands and began creating and coding YourDoggyMatch.com.
