Meet Carrot Cake! This little lady is as sweet as her name suggests. With a heart full of love and a soft, snuggly coat, she’s ready to be your favorite companion. Carrot Cake adores other dogs and humans alike—she’s a social butterfly who brings joy wherever she goes. Short walks are her jam, and she’ll happily trot alongside you while soaking up the sunshine. Afterward, she’s all about cozy cuddles on the couch. Her gentle nature and warm personality make her the perfect friend for lazy afternoons and peaceful evenings. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing pup to brighten your days, Carrot Cake is your perfect match. Some Notes from Carrot Cake’s Foster Parents:This has got to be the most adoptable dog I’ve ever met. Carrot Cake, or CC as we’re calling her, is the sweetest, most loving, curious, happy dog. She absolutely loves going for walks almost as much as she loves it when you come home. She jumps around and does this quick 180 spin with her tail a-waggin’ and her face a-smilin. She’s peppy and ready to walk or run with you all day, or has no problem snuggling up with you and napping. She’s a cuddler and likes to be next to you or under the covers completely.CC likes snacks, soft pets on her head, belly rubs, walks, park time, going for car rides, other people and little dogs. Big dogs make her a tiny bit nervous and she may growl, but her tail is wagging the entire time. CC doesn’t like walking in a straight line on a busy sidewalk (keep her close to you or she’ll clothesline someone), water (I still haven’t seen her drink water. We’ve had her 3 days), and is occasionally picky with food. She definitely wants what YOU are eating and if you put a little of what you’re eating into her bowl with her dog food, she’ll eat most of it.Fun facts: CC does handstands while she pees. Both back legs are up. She’s an athlete! Bounds up the stairs, jumps on beds. She’s got some zest.Today was the first day we left her at home for an extended period and she was fine. Did I mention SHE IS POTTY TRAINED? We did notice a little pee on the rug this morn (midnight potty break?) and I’m wondering if that’s because I didn’t take her on a proper walk last night before bed – she likes to mark several places. She has bonded to us quickly and is ok with kids (within reason)
