Hello, I'm Saucy! I'm a 1-year-old, spayed pitbull that currently weighs about 43lbs. I'm a silly, fun-loving girl who enjoys squeaky toys, rawhides, and going on walks. In fact, when I'm extra excited on my walks, I like to do a cute, tiny hop into the air! I also like to show off my tricks, "spin" and "shake." I still have my puppy energy, and I would do great in a home with a dog sibling who can play with me and help me continue to build confidence. Playing with other dogs is one of my favorite things, and I can get along with dogs of different temperaments and sizes. If you're looking for a dog-friendly dog, that's me! Please make sure we have a chance to be properly introduced before I join your family, though. I need time to warm up to new people, but once I feel comfortable with you, I'm super duper affectionate. Although I'm a total sweetheart, I have some prey drive, so I'd do best in a home without small animal or cats. I recently visited the PHS store at Hilldale mall in hopes of finding my new family. I was a little bit nervous but excited! I met over 50 people, toddlers and adults and I took treats from anyone who offered me one! I also met lots of doggies who where also visiting the mall and I did super great!

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
