Hello friends, my name is Hank! I'm a 10 year old, neutered, Papillon mix that weighs about 9lbs. My friends here at PHS say I'm a chill older guy that tends to start off on the shy side but I warm up fairly quickly. Once I'm comfortable, I'm very affectionate, playful and expert walker! I love going for strolls and have excellent leash walking manners! I'm a dedicated neighborhood watch member and will report my "findings" (mail carrier approach, Amazon deliveries, and visitor arrivals) promptly. I still have plenty of pep in my step and hope for a home where I can balance relaxation with playtime. Looking for an office companion? I could be great! I just need a warm lap to nap in and I'll be happy to keep you company while you send emails. If you have a resident dog, I'd love to meet him or her before I officially join your family. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
