Meet Kali Maddie - a beautiful, 10 year old, Dachshund mix, who weighs 45 pounds (as of 3/20/25). She was previously living in a loving home for 10 years and due to unforeseen circumstances, the family is no longer able to care for her and is asking for our help to find her a new family to call her own.

This sweet girl is incredibly loving and loyal. She will make a wonderful companion / family member for anyone who is looking for an affectionate girl. She enjoys leisurely walks, and spending time outdoors, but is equally content relaxing with her humans. She's so She's very sweet with children, and does well with other pups and would be fine to join a family that already has a resident dog at home. All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
