Meet Seamus
Say hello to Seamus. I know, those ears!! He is young and active and
friendly and playful. Did we mention active? Good boy Seamus is looking
for a special adopter. Seamus and his littermate Petal were raised in a
situation where they saw very few people or dogs besides their family, and
did not see much of the outside world. Now, new things can be scary.
Seamus is hoping for an adopter that will keep his world small and safe as
he acclimates to his new home. The adopters should watch Seamuss body
language and help him out when things get to be too much. And adopters
will need to practice petting consent, because sometimes even that is scary.
Seamus might benefit from living with a calm older dog who can show him the
ropes. This pup might also successfully live with a cat using complete
separation to start. And living with children is a possibility.
Lastly, he is still a young puppy. He has everything to learn. Getting a
puppy is so much work, but the benefits in the end are amazing. Do you
