Meet Petal
This little girl with the big ears is Petal. She is young and active and
friendly and playful. Did we mention active? Good girl Petal is looking
for a special adopter. Petal and her littermate Seamus were raised in a
situation where they saw very few people or dogs besides their family, and
did not see much of the outside world. Now, new things can be scary.
Petal is hoping for an adopter that will keep her world small and safe as
she acclimates to her new home. The adopters should watch Petals body
language and help her out when things get to be too much. And adopters
will need to practice petting consent, because sometimes even that is
scary.
Petal might benefit from living with a calm older dog who can show her the
way around. This sweet pea might also successfully live with a cat using
complete separation to start. And living with children is a possibility.
Lastly, she is still young and has so much to learn. Getting a puppy is a
lot of work, but the benefits in the end are amazing. Do you think this
