Meet Curry Spice!

Say hello to the irresistibly adorable Curry Spice – a Beagle/Golden Retriever mix (with a touch of mystery breed magic!) born on January 28, 2025. At just 10½ weeks old, and around 8 lbs., he’s already melting hearts and charming everyone he meets.

Curry is one of Ginger Mama’s sweet pups, and he’s everything you could hope for in a companion—fluffy, cuddly, playful, and full of love. He’s currently thriving in a foster home with three much larger dogs and is doing wonderfully. He’s even met cats and handled it like a champ, showing off his easygoing and friendly personality.

He’s an absolute sweetheart with children—his tail goes wild whenever he sees a kid! He’s the perfect blend of spunky and snuggly, always ready to grab a toy and curl up in your lap for playtime.

Curry is sleeping through the night in his crate and making great progress on house training. Whether you already have pets or are looking to bring home your first, Curry would be a wonderful addition—happy in a home with dogs, cats, or as your one-and-only.

About the Family Tree:
His wonderful mama is a mix of Golden Retriever and Rhodesian Ridgeback, weighing in at about 50 pounds — with a touch of hound and possibly a few other breeds sprinkled in the mix. She made her way up from the South, and her puppies were born right here in New England, thanks to one of our amazing nursery fosters. While we aren’t sure who dad is, we’re seeing some Beagle and Collie traits in the pups. One thing we do know? Curry and his littermates are 100% adorable mutts—the best kind of mix!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
