Meet Aviva - a beautiful Husky mix gal from Georgia. At the time of posting on 3/14 she is 13 weeks old and weighs 17 pounds.
Aviva and her sister Arya ended up in the county shelter in Georgia to no fault of their own. But luckily one of our rescue partners was able to get them out and they are thriving in their foster home. On the smaller side for huskies for sure, these petite gals are incredibly happy and playful gals who love everyone they meet - including kids. They are young pups of course so will need families devoted to training all they need to know in terms of housebreaking and good manners. Huskies are smart and need a lot of consistently and exercise to be at their best. But we know the best for these two will be off the charts amazing! They are already getting that bathroom is an outside activity and their foster parents report them to be "the best puppies we have ever had". How can you ask for more than that!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.
To adopt or learn more about Aviva, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **
PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
