This is a litter of super pups who are ready to save the day—just like Dog Man!

This litter is named after the Dog Man books, and are the pups to sweet Kia Momma (picture included)! These pups were born on 1/30/25 while in foster care and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Genie S Kia is currently 6 weeks old, and weighs 10 pounds (as of 3/12/25). Their momma weighs 40 pounds fully grown and is a Husky mix.

Her foster shares: "Genie is the most independent puppy of the bunch. While she enjoys tussling with her littermates, she can also entertain herself with a stuffie or other toys. She understands that keeping four on the floor gets her all the things she loves: food, treats, and attention. For her age of six weeks, Genie is relatively calm, often watching the ruckus rather than participating in it. She does have her energy bursts but they don’t last as long as those of her littermates and she can usually settle herself when tired. She has early recall with a generic “puppy” song that is sung before each meal. Genie’s ideal furever home has someone who is home more often than not, who is committed to ongoing positive-based training to set her up for success, and who has an appreciation for what it takes to raise a happy puppy!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
