Hi there! My name is Marge and I'm a spayed, 2-year-old, Doberman that currently weighs about 50lbs. but I should be around 55-60lbs. I'm a timid sweetheart that is still working on my social skills. I'm very affectionate with every person I've met and dogs that are my size, but I'm easily overwhelmed by dogs that are smaller than me and/or more rambunctious. I'm hoping for a family with adults and teens that has experience socializing worried ladies like myself so I can go out into the world with confidence! Once I'm comfortable, I love to cuddle and play with my favorite people. I enjoy treats and I'm very trainable! Since I'm still working on being comfortable around other dogs, it might be best if I go to a house with no other dogs, at least while I'm building my friendship circle. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
