What kind of dog can make your heart melt before you’ve even finished saying hello? Heartsong certainly lives up to her name. This sweet Miniature Schnauzer mix is an expert cuddler who absolutely loves being held and soaking up affection from her people. When she isn’t nestled happily in someone’s arms, her curious side comes out and she’s ready to explore her surroundings and see what the day has in store. Of course, all that adventuring works up an appetite, and Heartsong has a particular fondness for chicken…clearly, this girl knows the finer things in life! Add in the happy little grin she wears on her face, and she’s almost impossible to resist. Affectionate, curious, and incredibly endearing, Heartsong has the kind of personality that doesn’t just win your heart… it melts it completely.Here’s some notes from his foster :Heartsong is a sweet and silly little creature – I call her a baby goat because she hops with her back legs in the air! She was in tough shape when I first got her, but the Muttville vet team has brought her back to perfect health! She is potty trained, great in the car, and loves to be held.Because her back legs are a little iffy, she cannot do stairs, and she needs help from a little dog ramp to get up onto the couch, which is her preferred lounging place. She sleeps in her dog bed overnight (she loves the heating pad under her blanket). She isn’t a lap dog necessarily, but she likes to be close to the humans of the house.She co-exists wonderfully with my big dog, and would do great in a home with dogs. She’s slowly showing her goofy personality, but I think she’d do best in a home without a lot of hustle and bustle, where she can get comfortable and get some well-deserved R&R!
