Exotic beauty Emma Gene floated into Muttville like a youthful ingenue ready for her close-up. Long legs, long tail, elegance to beat the band, this tricolor sweetheart also has loads of curiosity and quiet charisma. Turns out she can dance too (gracefully, on back legs) when the spirit moves. Mostly she likes to explore, politely poking her freckled nose into everybody’s business as she gathers intelligence. She loves affection of all kinds from humans and friendly camaraderie from her fellow dogs. Visit and she will try to sit in your lap, which is both funny and deeply endearing. Also addictive. In a good way.Here’s some notes from her foster:Emma Gene is such a sweetheart and has a really fun personality. She’s very active and absolutely loves to play. She’s very spry for a senior – she zooms up and down our stairs, chases the ball in our yard, and her preferred way to get on the couch is to jump on it from behind :)She’s also incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. At night, she’s happiest curled up in bed with her people, and she’s been a wonderful snuggle buddy. I work from home and during the day she spends most of her time curled up in a dog bed. She has had no problem meeting new people – she is not shy or bashful and will welcome attention from anyone who will give it to her.Overall, she’s a loving, happy girl who is looking for a home where she can play and cuddle.
