Hello! My name is Sparkle, I am a 4 month old, spayed female, Pit Bull/ French Bulldog mix. I might be around 50lbs as an adult. I am an energetic, playful and friendly girl that is ready to go to my forever home. Full of curiosity and lots of love to give, I am always eager to make new friends and explore the world. Like any young pup, I would benefit from continued training to help me grow into a well mannered adult. With patience, positive reinforcement and plenty of love, I'll be sure to make a fun and loyal companion and bring some sparkle into your life! I recently went on a sleepover with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did:
She is such a good pup!! I initially thought she was unusually calm for a puppy and that perhaps the heat slowed her down, but now I think she is just a mature well behaved girl! Of course she does all the normal puppy playing and definitely needs supervision and guidance on what is okay to chew - she seems quite fond of wooden sticks and seems to find them everywhere! She quickly got the hang of our stairs which she was reluctant to use at first.  However, earlier I tried to get her to go down some "foreign" stairs and she backed away. With encouragement though she easily and quickly adapts to new things! I see that she knows sit and down and maybe other things too! She is pretty smart!  I managed to get her outside in time for her potty needs so no accidents in the house! Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
