Meet Daphne
Daphne is a young puppy who is still learning about the world around her. She came to the MSPCA after several early life transitions, and she can be a bit sensitive to new environments and experiences. When things feel overwhelming, Daphne may freeze, hesitate, or bark to let you know she’s unsure. With patience and understanding, though, she has all the potential of a young pup who is just beginning her journey. Daphne enjoys playtime, cozy naps, and learning new things—and with the right support, she’ll have lots of opportunities to build confidence as she grows.
Daphne is looking for a patient adopter who is excited to help a puppy learn at her own pace. Her new family should keep her world small and predictable at first, giving her time to settle in and letting her choose when she’s ready to interact. Positive training, careful introductions to new experiences, and learning to read her body language will all help her feel safe and understood. Daphne may do well with a calm, confident dog friend who can help show her the ropes, and she’s hoping to find a home that’s ready to guide her through puppyhood with kindness, consistency, and plenty of treats along the way.
