Hello, my name is Billy Zayn and I'm a 11-month-old, neutered pit bull who is currently 48 pounds. As you can tell by my name, I'm hoping to be treated like a celebrity. My friends here at PHS say I'm a happy go lucky guy that's very smart and loves to bounce! I'm hoping for a family with bully breed experience that's prepared to continue my training. Because I'm still working on some skills, I prefer to live with kids that are 6 or older. I'm treat motivated, so maybe we can do some fine dining! I recently went on a field trip with one of my PHS Friends! Here's how I did:
Billy Zayn loved going for a walk along the bay trail. He romped around in the foliage and enjoyed exploring the area. He is still nervous about car rides and doesn't know how to jump in yet. I'm sure the right family will give him enough love to get him comfortable with all adventures. After our walk, we hung out at the house and he was very well-behaved. I gave him a chew toy to work on and we both relaxed before returning to the shelter.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
