Meet Sarge
Come say hello to Sarge. This handsome boy is friendly and affectionate.
Like all hounds, Sarge will do anything for a piece of cheese. Hes here
to prove you wrong: Old dogs can learn new tricks! Especially if there is
cheese involved. Sarge loves to go on long, sniffy walks. Do you need a
walking buddy? He will also occasionally serenade you with his song.
Sarge has lived with dogs his whole life and all his dog interactions at
the shelter went well. He would love to live with another dog. He could
possibly live with a cat, starting with complete separation. And children
old enough to participate in training should work.
Poor Sarge has not had it easy. He came to us from a bad situation. We do
not know if he has ever lived inside. This means there may be many new
things for Sarge to acclimate to. He is hoping for a patient adopter who
will give him time and space to adjust to his new world.
Sarge is a really sweet dog who is happy to see everyone. He wants a
family of his own to hang out with. Would you like to meet him? Visit
Sarge at the MSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to
4:30PM.
