If you`re looking for a young dog that`s through the puppy stage, is crate-trained, and loves slow, sniffy walks and cuddling, Ty is your guy!
Having been through some transitions recently, Ty can be a bit reserved at first. But he warms up quickly and is looking for a patient family that will give him some time to decompress in his new home.
Prior to his time at the shelter, Ty did not have the chance to meet many other dogs. While he can appear a little worried upon first meeting a new dog here, we think he could do well with another dog in the home after a proper introduction is made.
Ty has lived with a cat in the past, and would do best with a dog-savvy cat who would be ok with a playful dog friend.
Ty has a positive history living with a child in the past.
Ty may start off a little cautious, but give him time and a cozy spot to settle in and you’:ll see his personality shine!

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
