Meet James
This absolutely gorgeous dog is James. In his previous home, James was mostly living outside and really did not get to meet many new people or dogs. Or experience new sights and sounds. Now, James is hoping for an adopter who will give him time to decompress and adjust to his new life. Good boy James is so very smart and trains quickly using a clicker. He loves long sniffy walks or romping around in a yard. He has also decided that car rides are awesome and will go with you wherever you want to go. While James was able to take walks with other calm dogs, living with another dog would currently take a good deal of management. James has successfully lived with cats in his previous home. And if children are old enough to practice petting consent and help with his training plan, James may be able to live with kids.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
