Meet Emmit
This handsome guy loves to snuggle and take sniffy walks. It takes a brief second for him to warm up, but then he is your best cuddle bug.
Emmit has found shelter life stressful, and this may continue while he transitions to a new home. This has presented as being worried/fearful of new places and environments as well as initially struggling to meet strangers or participate in invasive handling.
Emmit could likely do well with a well-matched dog and tools for separation and management if necessary. If not at home, he would enjoy having dog friends. He will likely do well with kids who can give space when needed and allow Emmit to settle in to his new home.
Emmit will thrive in a calm, supportive environment to help him in his transition.
